Her natural tone and vocal strength has caught on like wildfire with music sups and fans alike. With the gentle warmth of a familiar friend, she has the ability to inspire and motivate through song. The Writer
Juliet has been involved in writing production and placement music since 2010. She specializes in melody and lyrics. She can easily create melodies for pop, indie, blues, and alternative styles.
Writing for placement is a bit different to her than writing personally. When writing for sync she likes to start with a style plan that includes song, artist references and types of spots for which the song may be tailored (E.g. sports arena background music or a romantic scene in a movie). She favors a free flowing writing style, preferring to let herself fall into the meaning and feeling behind the song and letting the lyrics and melody flow together. Following this phase of the writing process, she can take the pieces and mold them into a finished product.
The Singer
Juliet is the ideal session singer. She has been singing professionally for over 20 years and has worked with prolific producers and a wide variety of production companies. Her voice is warm, fresh, strong, and inspiring. Juliet is a one-take kind of girl, but loves to give the producer a few options to play with during production. She takes direction well and can easily achieve desired phrasing. She can follow notes on the original vocal track with ease but can also add in ideas if requested. Juliet is skilled in vocal harmonies and vocal riffing (free-styling) for additional vocals. She has mastered control of her voice which gives her versatility in her style, tone, warmth, strength, vibrato, timbre and vocal coloring. She can change her voice to suit the type of vocals needed. Her specialty is a strong, soulful, pop sound. Think Adele power ballads, pop anthems and nostalgic crooner tunes.
